BOPSANOVA was originally composed for Jeff's SAXON! ensemble. Director Mr. David Orehowsky of North Penn School District's Pennfield Middle School commissioned Jeff to rescore the piece for his Jazz Ensemble's performance at the 2006 International Association of Jazz Educators Convention held in New York City.
